Our partners, Kristina and Neal, built this company by integrating a portfolio of small hydropower assets into what became the largest independent hydropower platform in the United States. Apollo subsequently acquired the business, and our partners worked closely with them on the value creation plan that underpinned Apollo’s investment.
Catalyzer invested alongside Apollo on a no-fee, no-carry basis. Kristina has committed 50% of her Management Incentive Plan (MIP) to the fund, which is expected to roughly double returns to Catalyzer LPs to ~5x. Importantly, downside risk is mitigated by the nature of the asset: an operating platform with strong, stable cash flows.
Non-linear AI optimization software for fluid flow. First product for hydropower deployed on the field yields ∼10% more output per unit of water released (same water, more power). Their technology is part of the Eagle Creek cash flow improvements plan.

Catalyzer secured Axolotis first customer and proof point and is helping hands-on to get new customers by going on sales calls with the founder. We are also helping build the team as they scale.
