Kristina co-founded Cube Hydro Partners, deploying $630M in equity and debt and delivering 2.4x DPI and 22.9% net IRR. She has founded six companies and serves on the boards of Cisco, DuPont, MTI, and Infleqtion.

As U.S. Under Secretary of Energy, Johnson managed an $11B energy portfolio, oversaw $36B in ARRA funding, and helped launch ARPA-E. She holds 45 U.S. patents, is a member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame and the National Academy of Engineering, and received the National Medal of Technology and Innovation in 2025.

Kristina served as President of The Ohio State University, Chancellor of the State University of New York, and Dean of Duke's Engineering School. She earned a BSEE, MSEE, and PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
